Business address: 27 Langevin Cres, Scarborough, ON M1C 2B8 Location of work: 4663, Highway 6 South, Mount Hope, ON L0R 1W0 Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job duties: Direct and control daily operations Evaluate daily operations Plan and organize daily operations Manage staff and assign duties Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales Determine merchandise and services to be sold Develop and implement marketing strategies Determine staffing requirements Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Supervise office and volunteer staff Requirements: -Education: Completion of high school is required. A university degree or college diploma in business administration or other field related to the product or service being sold is a strong asset. -Experience: At least one year of supervisory experience is required. -At least 1 year of related retail or wholesale sales experience at increasing levels of responsibility is a strong asset. - Basic IT & Administrative skills are a strong asset. -Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Tight deadlines; Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail; Sitting; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods of time. -Personal Suitability: Adaptability; Analytical; Collaborative; Creativity; Efficiency; Energetic; Goal-oriented; Hardworking; Integrity; Outgoing; Positive attitude; Proactive; Quick learner; Time management; Client focus; Efficient interpersonal skills; Excellent oral and written communication; Flexibility; Interpersonal awareness; Judgement; Organized; Team player, Maturity; Patience; Resourcefulness; Ability to multitask. -Ability to Supervise: 3 people -Computer and technology knowledge: Proficiency in using POS terminals for sales transactions, Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace, Digital Communication Tools. -Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) -Language: English is required. Wage: $42.78 hourly; 30 – 40 hours per week. Benefits: Free parking available, On-site amenities. Top of Form Important Information: The following will be the schedule of the selected candidate: Tuesday 2pm – 11pm Wednesday 5am – 2pm Thursday 2pm – 11pm Saturday 6am – 2pm Fridays and Mondays are off.
