Basecamp Burger Joint is located at 140 Esplanade Ave., Harrison Hot Springs, BC V0M 1K0. We are currently looking for a permanent Specialty Foods Chef (Korean & Thai). Position: Specialty Foods Chef (Korean & Thai) Wage: CAD$36.60/hour Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including morning, evening, weekends, and holidays) Working hours: 30-40 hours/week Benefits: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties: • Plan and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of foods • Create new recipes for Korean and Thai cuisines • Plan new menus for Korean and Thai cuisine • Ensure food meets quality and safety standards • Prepare and cook food for special orders, chef's specials, and specialty foods • Supervise activities of cooks and staff • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment • Monitor and requisition food and supplies • Arrange any repair /purchase of equipment • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies Job Requirements: • Completion of secondary school; • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial food preparation required. • Cook certificate an asset Language at work: English Job Location: 140 Esplanade Ave., Harrison Hot Springs, BC V0M 1K0 How to apply: • Please email us your application with resume, cover letter, and references attesting experience Contact Information: Basecamp Burger Joint • E-mail: basecamp9@outlook.com | |
