Position: Vehicle Service Technician (NOC 72410) Employer: Arthur’s Automotive Location of Work: 1498 Burton Road, Gibsons, BC, V0N 1V2 Vacation: 10 days Wage: $36.60 per hour Benefits: Eligibility for bonuses Nature of Employment: Full-time, permanent Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week Language: English Job Duties: • Troubleshooting and repairing small engine vehicles (2 cycles) including motorcycles. • Repairing and rebuilding outboard engines and carburetors. • Inspecting and troubleshooting vehicles, including using tools and diagnostic equipment to determine problems. • Fixing and replacing vehicle parts, including repairing and swapping out damaged parts in systems like brakes, engines, and electrical components. • Performing regular vehicle maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups to keep vehicles running smoothly. • Testing after repairs to check that everything works properly after fixing the vehicle and adjusting as needed. Job Requirements: • Completion of a vehicle service technician certificate course. • At least 3 years of related work experience as a vehicle service technician, including experience with motorcycles.
