L9T 6K9 Title: Construction Labourer – NOC: 75110 – Construction trades helpers and labourers Duration: Full Time, Permanent Salary: $34.07/Hour for 40 Hours/Week Employment type: Full time Job timing: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (EST) Benefits: Other Benefits Vacancies: 3 Start Date: As soon as possible Languages: English Job Requirements Essential Functions: • Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas • Remove tiles, carpets and install tiles, carpets and flooring. • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete • Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, cement finishers, roofers in construction activities • Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel • Assist in demolishing and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment • Direct traffic at or near construction sites • Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed. • Assign tasks and monitor the productivity of each laborer to optimize efficiency. • Provide hands-on assistance with labor work, including heavy lifting, if needed. • Ensure that all tile installations meet client expectations and company quality standards.
