ICEN Property Services is a leading provider of property maintenance solutions, specializing in hard-to-reach areas. We use Rope Access to safely and efficiently perform tasks at heights, ensuring minimal disruption and superior results for our clients. Rope Access Technician (RAT) ICEN Property Services is looking for three Rope Access Technicians (RAT) to join our team in Vancouver, BC. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive wage and flexible hours. Work Location: 312 - 3183 Pierview Crescent, Vancouver, BC V5S 0G5, and various on-site customer locations. Salary: $37.00 per hour, for 30 to 40 hours per week. Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time employment with flexible hours (early morning, morning, day, weekend). Start Date: As soon as possible. Responsibilities • Work at high-rise buildings with ropes and perform construction, caulking, window cleaning, and repairs to the outside of high-rise concrete buildings. • Review and sign off on the Rope Access Work and Rescue Plan for • each job site. • Follow and abide to the regulations in the ICEN Employee Manual. • Complete daily tasks in the allotted time frame. • Maintain personal kit equipment and conduct equipment checks on a regular basis. • Be a good representative of ICEN Property Services on site to clients and general public. • Meet company and client expectations and standards. • Identify and report to supervisor any unsafe practices at work and/or • any damage. • Read blueprints to determine job requirements. • Instruct apprentices. Qualifications & Requirements • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. • Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in construction, caulking, window cleaning, and repairs to the outside of high-rise concrete buildings. • Must be comfortable at heights & working outdoors in all weather conditions. • Certification: Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Level 1- 2 Certification is required. • Language: Must be proficient in English. • Personal Suitability: We're looking for an accurate, organized, client-focused team player. Work Environment The work is on-site at various location within the lower mainland area and the work is performed at heights in a dangerous, dusty, hot, noisy, wet/damp, and outdoors environment.
