Job Details This position is to start April 15 2026. This position will require working Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays as required from 07:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Flexibility in schedule is required according to the business needs. Overtime is required. Apply by e-mail to: phil@willowleesod.com Apply by mail to: 907 Victoria Rd, Ameliasburgh, ON K0K 1A0. ****Please apply with the subject: Job Application – Sod layer (seasonal)**** web site : https://willowleesod.com/careers/ Apply by Email: phil@willowleesod.com Job Description Job Duties: • Assist with landscape constructions • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants • Cut grass • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials • Lay sod or seeds • Assist with the day to day operations in relation to the manufacturing, harvesting, sale and installation of Sod, Seed, Hydroseed and Fertilizer • Clean all equipment vehicles and tools used in day to day activities • Preparation of job sites Requirements -Education: No formal education is required -Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided. -Working conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Repetitive tasks, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling -Personal Suitability: Initiative, Client focus, Accurate, Judgment, Effective interpersonal skills, Team Player, Organized -Work Site Environment: Outdoors -Weight handling: Up to 30 kg -Language: Basic level of English is required Salary: $19.75- $20.50 hourly, 50-58 hours per week. Benefits: Disability Insurance and Extended Medical Insurance, Group Insurance and Life Insurance benefits are provided. We provide transportation to and from job sites. Transportation costs are covered if the worker needs to relocate. Accommodation is available at a cost. | |
