Business Address: 1503 Cliveden Avenue, Suite 101, Delta, British Columbia V3M 6P7 Title of the Position: Journeyman electricians (NOC 72201) Job Duties: As a Journeyman Electrician at Neutron, you will be responsible for a wide range of electrical tasks. Your duties include, but are not limited to: • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to plan and execute installations and repairs of industrial electrical systems. • Installing, inspecting, repairing, and replacing electrical wiring, conduits, switchgear, lighting systems, and other components including fibre-optic and coaxial cables. • Testing electrical and electronic systems for continuity, voltage, current, and resistance to ensure proper function and safety. • Maintaining and servicing electrical motors, generators, transformers, alternators, and industrial control systems (including hydraulic and pneumatic systems). • Troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related devices. • Conducting preventive maintenance programs and maintaining accurate service and maintenance records. • Collaborating with other trades and team members to complete projects and service calls efficiently and professionally. • Assisting with job proposals, quotes, and project planning as needed. • Managing job execution to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget compliance, including site clean-up and customer sign-off. • Communicating clearly with customers, field technicians, and office staff to ensure smooth project execution. • Responding to after-hours service calls as part of the on-call rotation. • Identifying and managing scope changes during jobs, obtaining customer approval, and coordinating with the office for proper documentation. • Recognizing opportunities for additional work within customer facilities and supporting business development. • Representing the Neutron brand with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, and adhering to safety standards at all times.
