Position: Chef Wage: CAD$27.00-37.00/hour (depending on experiences) Types: Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 30-40 hours/week Benefits: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties: • Plan and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of foods • Create new recipes • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality and safety standards • Prepare and cook food, special orders/functions, and Chef specials • Supervise activities of cooks and staff • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment • Monitor and requisition food and supplies • Arrange any repair /purchase of equipment • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies Job Requirements: • Completion of secondary school; • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial food preparation required. • Cook certificate an asset Language at work: English Job Location: 140 Esplanade Ave., Harrison Hot Springs, BC V0M 1K0 Contact Information: Basecamp Burger Joint • E-mail: basecamp9@outlook.com
