Position: Cook Employer: Fleetwood Sushi Restaurant Ltd Location: 15930 Fraser Hwy, Surrey, BC V4N 0X9 Canada Vacancy: 1 Job Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and foods with precision and creativity - Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow - Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure a well-stocked kitchen - Keep the kitchen and work area clean and organized, adhering to sanitation and safety standards - Collaborate with the team to plan menus, determine portion sizes, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies as needed Requirements: - Completion of secondary school - 3+ years of experience working as a cook - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and kitchen equipment - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality output and meeting time-sensitive demands - Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience Working Conditions: - Wage: $37.00 - $38.00 per hour (negotiable), plus 4% vacation pay - Working hours: 30-40 hours per week (Full-time position) How to Apply: If you are ready to showcase your culinary expertise and join our team, we invite you to apply by sending your resume and cover letter to fleetwoodsushi@hotmail.com.
