US President Donald Trump questioned the trade relations between India and Russia. In a post on Truth Social on Thursday, Trump said that he does not care about the relations between India and Russia. He called the economies of both countries 'dead'. Trump also targeted India's high tariffs and said that it is the highest in the world. Trump announced a 25% tariff and additional penalty on Indian imports from August 1. This move is against trade and defense relations between India and Russia. Trump said that America's trade with India is very low because India's tariffs are very high. After this announcement, the ongoing trade talks between India and America may be affected.  | |
