Position: Specialty foods chef (Japanese foods) Wage: CAD$35.00-38.00 /hour (depending on experiences) Types: Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 30~40 hours/week Benefits: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties: • Plan and instruct and cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of foods • Create and maintain special house sauces • Create new recipes • Prepare and cook Japanese meals, chef’s specials, specialty foods, and for special events • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality and safety standards • Demonstrate and train new cooking techniques/equipment to staff • Supervise activities of cooks • Requisition food and supplies • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies Job Requirements: • Completion of secondary school; • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial food preparation required. • Cook's trade certification an asset Language at work: English Job Location: #110-6011 No. 1 Rd., Richmond, BC V7C 1T4 Contact Information: Katsu San • E-mail: katsusan2@outlook.com | |
