WANTED: Manager (Full-time / Permanent) Employer: Starbucks Wall Centre Position: Manager (Permanent) Position available: 1 Conditions: • Location: 1088 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2R9 • Compensation: $36.60 per hour • Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week Benefits: • Extended Medical (including dental) • Vacation pays and Sick days as BC employment standards. • Marriott hotel discount Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: • Manage the store for daily operation for scheduling, hiring, record keeping, auditing cash management, ordering and developing staff performance etc. • Observe the staff’s performance and professionally deliver any feedback for their development. • Plan and execute the seasonal promotions with the team ensuring their knowledge and targets. • Participate in meetings regarding operational discussions for marketing, target planning etc., if required. • Follow and train operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, security and health and safety • Ensure food and service meet the company standards. • Develop positive relationships with the team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns. • Hire and train new staff. • Ensure excellent customer service. • May perform the duties as a shift supervisor or a barista on the floor, if needed. Requirements: • Language: English • Completion of Secondary (high) school • Minimum 3 year of working experience in food service industry including minimum 1 year of supervisory experience • Must be available to work between 5AM - 7PM. • Must be available to work on weekends and holidays.
