We need help immediately from a skilled caregiver for a physical disability - Work Location: 218 Burnside Road W, Victoria, BC V9A 1C3 (Private) - Wage: $25/hour + Vacation fee (4% of gross salary) - Hours: 40hrs/week (Full-time) - Terms of Employment: Permanent - Condition of Help Recipient: Male with a disability ++Requirements - Secondary school Diploma is required and Completion of College or other courses in a care-giving related field (or equivalent experience) - Minimum 1 year of experience - Language: English - Work site Environment: Non-smoking, Private household ++Main Duties - Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting - Manage medication reminders and ensure medications are taken on time - Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary - Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean-living environment - Shop for food and household supplies - Accompany the client to doctor’s appointments and social activities - Provide emotional support through conversation and engaging in hobbies or games - Monitor and document changes in the client’s health or behavior, reporting concerns to family members or health professionals - Maintain confidential information and always respect the client’s privacy ++Personal Suitability Monitoring, Social Orientation, Concern for Others, Attention to Detail, Patience ++How to apply Please submit your resume by email to hr.perez.victoria@hotmail.com Only selected candidates will be contacted for an interview. | |
