We're looking for individuals who are: • Not afraid of heights and comfortable working on ladders and suspended stages. • Enthusiastic and possess a strong work ethic. • Able to work efficiently while suspended in a harness for extended periods. • Capable of functioning effectively in various climatic extremes. Responsibilities and Duties: As a Rope Access Technician and Building Envelope Maintenance Technician, your duties will include: • Window cleaning via rope access. • Exterior building pressure washing. • Post-construction window cleaning. • Building inspections and reports. • Leak investigations. • Exterior sealant repairs. • Building envelope restoration. • Using rope access to reach hard-to-reach areas without scaffolding or a work platform. • Descending, ascending, and transversing ropes for access and work while suspended by harness. • Performing duties such as inspections, painting touch-ups, washing windows, pressure washing, waterproofing, caulking, and other types of work at height or high angle. • Performing minor repair/maintenance activities at heights or high angles. • Communicating effectively with customers and managers to maintain consistent workflow and customer satisfaction. • Following all established safety rules and instructions. Requirements and Qualifications: • High school diploma • Valid IRATA or SPRAT Certification (Level 1-3) is required. • A valid BC driver’s license is considered an asset, but not mandatory. • Must be able to pass a criminal record check. Compensation and Benefits: • Competitive Hourly Wage: $36.50 - $39.00 per hour, commensurate with certification level and experience. • Vacation pay: 4% • Overtime: As BC labour laws • Employee Support: Personal vehicle usage gas reimbursement and corporate cell phone provided. • Professional Development: Company-paid professional certification and equipment.
