Your duties include, but are not limited to: • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of resort accommodation services--for two resorts in Southern Vancouver Island. • Assist with development and implementation of policies and procedures for resort operations. • Prepare and manage resort budgets; monitor revenues and expenses to ensure profitability. • Participate in the development of pricing and promotional strategies to increase occupancy. • Negotiate with local and national suppliers for the provision of materials and services. • Recruit, train, and supervise accommodation staff; set work schedules and evaluate performance. • Ensure high standards of guest service and resolve escalated customer complaints promptly. • Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of resort facilities to ensure guest satisfaction and safety. • Maintain records of financial transactions and prepare operational reports for management. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
