What ID is needed for minors to fly Allegiant?
Minors under 18 flying with Allegiant on domestic flights do not need a photo ID. However, Allegiant advises parents or guardians to bring a birth certificate or other proof of age to avoid delays at check-in. This is especially important if the child is a lap infant under two, as age must be verified to qualify for infant travel status. While TSA doesn’t require ID for children traveling with adults, Allegiant reserves the right to request documentation. For added peace of mind, a school ID or passport can also serve as valid identification when flying.
