Job Position: Chef(NOC 62200) Number of Openings: 1 Language at Work: English Duties/Responsibilities: - Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff - Create new recipes - Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food - Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff - Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods - Requisition food and kitchen supplies - Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food - Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards - Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items Requirements: - Completion of secondary school is required. - 3 -5 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
