Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Manager (20010) Employer: Zoom Engineering Ltd. Location: Tower CC3-Unit 405, 13761 96 Ave Surrey, British Columbia V3V 0E8 Salary: $67.31/ hour Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, 40 hours/week Employment Conditions: Day, Evening, Morning Vacancy: 1 Start: as soon as possible Job requirements Languages: English Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: One year or more years of experience Specific Skills: Plan, direct, and coordinate engineering projects. This involves setting timelines, deciding on budget allocations, and ensuring projects adhere to schedules and specifications. Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and supporting staff. This includes hiring, training, and mentoring team members, as well as conducting performance reviews. Supervise and contribute to the design of mechanical systems and components. Ensure designs are efficient, viable, and in compliance with customer specifications and regulatory standards. Address and resolve complex engineering issues that arise during project planning, development, and execution phases. Implement and oversee quality control and assurance measures. Ensure that engineering outputs meet both internal standards and external compliance requirements. Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and other managerial aspects of project execution to ensure projects are completed within the allocated resources. Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Participate in strategic planning with other senior leaders to improve operational processes and propose new projects aligned with business goals.
