Our restaurant is located in Metrotown and fully serves Korean-style Chinese cuisine. Now we are looking for a cook willing to become our valued team members! Employer: Gamsa Enterprises Ltd. (o/a Pal Pal Noodle House) Position: 2 Full-time Cooks Working Location: 5021 Kingsway #109, Burnaby, BC. V5H 4A5 Wage: $19.00 ~ $20.00 per hour (to be negotiated) and 4% of the gross income for paid vacation per year. Work Hours: 30~40 hours per week. Start date of Employment: ASAP Responsibilities - Set up a workstation with all the needed ingredients and cooking equipment. - Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat and etc.) - Cook various foods according to our recipe. - Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies and intolerances. - Check food while cooking to stir or turn. - Check the quality of ingredients. - Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards. - Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment. - Inspect kitchens and food services areas. - Clean kitchen and workstation. - Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food. Requirements - Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate. - A diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage. - Experience: 2+ years of cooking experience or completion of other programs in cooking. - Knowledge of various cooking procedures. - Ability to follow all sanitation procedures. - Good communication skills.
