Performance of PLC controller
PLC functions and performance: Ensure that the selected PLC has sufficient functions and performance to meet your control requirements. 1. Performance of PLC controller 1. temperature The PLC requires an ambient temperature between 0 to 55°℃. It should not be installed under components with high heat generation, and there must be sufficient space for ventilation and heat dissipation around it. There should be at least a 30mm gap between the basic unit and the expansion unit. The top and bottom of the switch cabinet should have ventilated louvers to prevent direct sunlight exposure. If the surrounding environment exceeds 55°℃, an electric fan should be installed for forced ventilation. 2. Humidity In order to ensure the insulation performance of PLC, the relative humidity of air should be less than 85% (no condensation). 3. Vibrations The PLC should be kept away from strong vibration sources to prevent frequent or continuous vibration with a frequency of 10~55Hz. When the vibration is inevitable in the use environment, vibration reduction measures must be taken, such as using shock-absorbing rubber. 4. Air Avoid corrosive and flammable gases, such as hydrogen chloride, hydrogen sulfide, etc. For the environment with more dust or corrosive gas in the air, PLC can be installed in a well-sealed control room or control cabinet, and an air purification device can be installed. 5. Power supply The PLC is powered by an AC supply of 50Hz, 220 (1±10%) V. The PLC itself has sufficient resistance to interference from power lines. For environments with high reliability requirements or severe power line interference, a 1:1 isolation transformer with a shielding layer can be installed to reduce interference between the equipment and ground. An LC filter circuit can also be connected in series at the power input end. The FX series PLC has a DC 24V output terminal, which can provide a DC 24V power supply to input sensors (such as photoelectric switches or proximity switches). When using an external DC power source at the input end, a DC regulated power supply should be selected. Ordinary rectifier filter power supplies, due to ripple effects, can easily cause the PLC to receive incorrect information.
