We are looking for a Home Support Worker who can help a senior with Parkinson’s disease. - Work Location: 3081 William Ave., North Vancouver BC V7K 1Z7 (Residential setting) - Wage: $23/hour + Vacation fee (4% of gross salary) - Hours: 30hrs/week (Full-time) - Terms of Employment: Permanent - Condition of Help Recipient: Senior, Parkinson’s disease ++Requirements - Language: English - Education/Experience: Secondary school Diploma is required and Completion of College or other courses in a care-giving related field is an asset - Work site Environment: Non-smoking, Private household ++Main Duties - Shop for food and household supplies - Plan and prepare meals, and assist in having a meal - Provide personal care to a senior such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing - Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties - Assist in regular exercise such as walks - Provide companionship - Available to lift up at least 110 lb ++Personal Suitability Instructing, Monitoring, Social Orientation, Concern for Others, Attention to Detail ++How to apply Please submit your resume by email at sjlee195674@gmail.com Only selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.
