Located in South Surrey / White Rock, we have been developing young soccer talent since April 2020. Position Details • Position: Soccer Coach • NOC: 53201 • Start Date: Immediate • Shift(s): Full-time • Wage: $34.80/hour, 30-40 hours/week • Overtime Wage: $52.20/hour for work exceeding 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week • Type: Full-time, Permanent • Benefits: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary as vacation pay • Work Location: 15167 Russell AVE, White Rock BC V4B3Z6 Job Duties • Plan, develop, and implement age-appropriate soccer training programs for players of various skill levels (ages 5-18) • Conduct individual and group training sessions focusing on technical skills development including dribbling, passing, ball control, and game awareness • Assess players' abilities, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback • Create personalized development plans for players to enhance their individual skills • Demonstrate soccer techniques and explain relevant principles to students • Organize and supervise practice drills, small-sided games, and skill-building exercises • Ensure proper use of equipment and maintain a safe training environment • Communicate effectively with players and parents regarding progress and development goals • Attend staff meetings and participate in coach development sessions • Document player progress and maintain training records • Assist with player evaluation and placement processes • Promote the academy's philosophy and values while serving as a positive role model Employment Requirements • Minimum 1 year of experience as a soccer coach, preferably with youth players • Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, techniques, and strategies • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with children and adolescents • Ability to adapt coaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and skill levels • Strong organizational and time management skills • Criminal Record Check clearance (required prior to start date) • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required • Physical ability to demonstrate techniques and participate in training activities • Knowledge of proper injury prevention and management techniques • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation How to Apply If you are interested in the position, please forward your resume by email to artkickacademy@hotmail.com.
