At Central Butte Grocery, we are a local grocery store with a dedicated Meat Section that offers a variety of high-quality meats to our community. We're looking for a Butcher to join our team and help us provide excellent service to our customers. Location: 158 Main St N, Central butte, SK, Canada, S0H 0A1 Position: Butcher-Retail, Full-time, Permanent Wage: $16.85 hourly Working hours: 30 hours per week Key Responsibilities: - Cut, prepare, and portion various meats, poultry, and occasionally seafood, based on customer orders or for special display in the Meat Section. - Trim, tie, and package roasts and other cuts, both fresh and frozen, for retail sale. - Monitor inventory levels in the Meat Section, ensuring product freshness and proper stock rotation. - Prepare product displays and ready meats for sale, ensuring quality and presentation meet store standards. - Ensure compliance with food safety standards. - Maintain proper storage conditions and ensure all products are accurately labeled and organized. Qualifications: - Physical ability to handle and lift heavy items as required. - High school diploma or equivalent; food safety certification is an asset. - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service. - Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. - Ability to communicate in English How to Apply: To apply, please send your resume to centralbuttegrocery483@gmail.com.
