Position: Chef Wages: CAD$35.00/hour Types: Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 30-40 hours/week Benefits: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties: • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food • Prepare and cook food, chef’s specials, and other specialty foods • Plan menus • Develop new recipes • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff • Requisition kitchen supplies/equipment Job Requirements: • Completion of secondary school; • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial food preparation required. • Cook certificate an asset.
