Be patient toward “all” men [humans, male & female, and not just some, but all, have patience, longsuffering, don't be hasty, endure to the end, wait, he that waiteth, endureth, endure and be saved, be faithful and wise, let Him [Jesus] find you watching, not sleeping on guard duty! God is patient with you! If you study the following verses, you can get an idea of why God tells us to be patient, and just how important patience really is. Exodus 34:6; Numbers 14:18; Psalm 27, 37:7-9, 34, 40:1, 62:5-8, 86:15, 130:5; Isaiah 25:9, 26:8-9, 28:16, 30:18 [blessed are all they that wait for him] Isaiah 33:2, 40:31, 51:5, 64:4; Jeremiah 15:15; Lamentations 3:25-26; [Seek Him, and be patient. His good will come]. Daniel 12:12; Micah 7:7 [wait on the true God of salvation, not the fake god/antichrist]; Zephaniah 3:8 [His wrath is for the wicked only]; Matthew 24:13; Luke 8:15, 12:36-38, 21:18-19; Romans 2:4, 7; 5:3-4, 8:25, 9:22, 15:4-5; 2 Corinthians 6:4, 6, 12:12; Galatians 5:22; Ephesians 4:2; Colossians 1:11, 3:12; 1 Thessalonians 1:3, 10, 5:14; 2 Thessalonians 1:4, 3:5; 1 Timothy 1:16, 6:11; 2 Timothy 3:10, 4:2; Titus 2:2; Hebrews 6:12 [how do you inherit the promises? Through faith and patience.], Hebrews 3:6, 6:15, 10:36, 12:1; James 1:3-4, 12, 5:7, 8, 10, 11; 1 Peter 2:20, 3:20; 2 Peter 1:6, 3:9, 15; Revelation 2:2-3, 19, 25-26, 3:10 [be patient and be saved], 13:10, 14:12 [be patient, faithful, and follow His commandments]; He wants us all to get to the point where we have a change in our hearts and repent. He doesn't want any of us to keep on sinning. His kindness through His patience with us, leads us to repentance. How often should we display patience and forgive others? Let God and Jesus tell you how often. Isaiah 55:7; let the wicked forsake his way, means to [repent and have a change of heart], abundantly pardon, means [fully, amply, plentifully, in a sufficient degree, to multiply, become many, more than once]: Matthew 18:14, 21-22; It seems forgiving the trespasses of another is virtually without limit, be patient [490 times]! Luke 17:4 [7 times a day!]; 2 Peter 3:9; Our Father is extremely patient with us, and Jesus is telling each of us, through Matthew and Luke, be extremely patient toward others, (family, friends, etc.), as well. Let Jesus be our example. Don't be impatient, hasty! Proverbs 14:29, 21:5; Ecclesiastes 5:2, 7:9, 8:2-3; Isaiah 28:16; Matthew 18:26, 29; Mark 4:17; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4; Why is it so important to be patient? If you are impatient, you will not wait on the God of your salvation, the real Jesus Christ. You will be deceived and end up worshiping the first one claiming to be God, which will be Satan as the antichrist. Not a good idea. Most folks have absolutely no idea how important patience is! Maybe you'll begin to understand after you study the above verses. The AntiChrist/Satan comes at the 6th trump. The real Christ comes at the 7th [last one] trump. That is why God tells you over and over again in many verses, to be patient; wait on Him! Don't worship the first one coming along claiming to be Christ. Be patient!!! There are many verses besides these that tell you the same thing. | |
