Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Operate and drive commercial vehicles requiring a DZ license, to pick up and deliver primarily food and beverage items Accept payment or invoices for items delivered Keep a record of items received and delivered Load and unload goods. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Requirements Education: Some secondary school is required. Experience: Experience is an asset. On the job training will be provided. Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads. Personal suitability: Client focus, Flexibility, Organized, Accurate, Punctuality. A valid driver’s license (Class DZ) is required. Weight handle: More than 45 kg (100 lbs.) Language: English is required. Salary: $36.00 per hour, 40 – 44 hours per week. Benefits: Extended medical insurance provided by the employer. Medical, dental, group insurance and life insurance benefits provided by the employer. Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required.
