Number of Job opening: 1 position Job Title: Wholesale Buyer Job Location: 88 Brigantine Dr. #100, Coquitlam, BC V3K 6Z6 Working Conditions: -Wage: $34.62 per hour -Working Hours: 30 hours per week (full-Time) -Benefit(s): 4% vacation pay / Extended Medical Insurance after 6 months of employment Job duties you will be responsible for: - Ensure all materials are purchased on time, to specification, and at the best price available. - Participate in the selection and development of products and collections. - Assist in market analysis and decision-making. - Examine, select, order, and purchase at the most favorable price merchandise consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements and other factors. - Analyze assigned product categories and propose appropriate action plan. - Negotiate with suppliers and build long term relationships. - Make sure stock is rotated effectively and waste minimize. - Develop and maintain a supplier database to strengthen the procurement process. - Liaise with suppliers on quality problems in conjunction with company quality standards.
