Stone Korean BBQ House is located at #310-3778 Grand Promenade, Burnaby, BC V3J 1N4. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Specialty foods Chef (Korean foods). Position: Specialty Foods Chef Wage: CAD$27.00-37.00/hour (depending on skills and experiences) Types: Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 30~ 40 hours/week Benefits: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties: • Plan and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of Korean foods • Prepare and cook authentic Korean BBQs and Korean foods, chef’s specials, and specialty foods • Create new recipes • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality and safety standards • Demonstrate and train new cooking techniques/equipment to staff • Supervise activities of cooks and staff • Monitor and requisition food and supplies • Arrange any repair /purchase of kitchen equipment • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies Job Requirements: • Completion of secondary school; • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial food preparation required. • Cook’s certification an asset.
