Job Description: • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food; • Assist with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers; • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation; • Prepare food order summaries for chef; • Establish work schedules and procedures; • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; • Hire and Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures; • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards; • Ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy; and • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
