Our main dishes are Korean fried chicken, but we also serve other Korean cuisine from various Korean appetizers to traditional hotpot to provide delightful dinner experience to our customers. We are now hiring an experienced full-time Food Service Supervisor. Employer: 1093902 BC Ltd. (o/a Bistro Chi-Q) Position: Full-time Food Service Supervisor Vacancy: 2 Responsibilities: - Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. - Distribute the duties to each staff member. - Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation. - Maintain records of stock, repairs, and wastage. - Check the inventory and arrange the order for insufficient ingredients and supplies. - Supervise staff preparing and serving meals to customers. - Prepare work schedules and evaluate the work performance of staff. - Respond to customer issues related to food. - Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures. - Organize the daily closing activities for the restaurant, including cleaning, dishwashing, food storage etc. Requirement: - Completion of secondary school. - Completion of a community college program in hotel and restaurant management or 2+ years of related experience may be required. Wage: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour. Working Condition: 30-40 hours a week. Benefit: 4% from gross income for paid vacation per year. Working (Business) Location: 1669 Pear Street, Victoria, BC V8P 2A5.
