Physical Job Location: Multiple locations in BC • 6791 Oldfield Rd, Saanichton, BC, V8M 2A2 or; • 5947 206A St, Unit 110-A, Langley, BC, V3A 8M1 or; • 1101 Commercial Pl, Unit 108-109, Squamish, BC, V8B 1B5 Job Type: Full-Time/shift work (40 hours per week) Physical Job Location: Multiple locations in BC Salary: $29/hour Vacation: 4% each pay cheque (6% after 5 years) Start date of employment: As soon as possible Benefits: Extended Health, Dental and life Insurance after 6 months of employment Language: English About Us Parker Johnston is one of the largest roofing and cladding contractors in British Columbia. The services offered by the Parker Johnson’s team include design, installation and maintenance of roofing and cladding systems renowned for durability and architectural appeal. Responsibilities: ● Install, repair or replace roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel ● Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions ● Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings ● Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level ● Utilize tools such as nail guns and other air-compressor tools ● Adhere to safety protocols while navigating the jobs sites ● Handle heavy materials, including nail boxes, shingle bundles, etc. in a safe and efficient manner. ● Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs Requirements: ● Completion of High School ● At least 2 years of experience with Flat Roofing installation is required ● Ability to handle and lift heavy loads ● Steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety goggles, gloves, tools How to apply If you have the experience and qualifications we're looking for, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
