About Us: Jensen Construction Group is located in Whistler, BC. We specialize in high-quality concrete forming and framing for a wide variety of projects. We are currently seeking a skilled Concrete Forming Carpenter to join our dynamic team. If you have experience in concrete forming and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you! Job Title: Concrete Forming Carpenter NOC 72310 Location: 41592 Grant Road, Brackendale Whistler, BC V0N 1H0 Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (depending on experience and skills) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Responsibilities: • Perform concrete forming for single-family and multi-family residential projects, as well as some commercial and infrastructure projects • Build, set, and install wooden and metal forms for concrete structures such as foundations, walls, slabs, and more. • Assist with framing carpentry tasks as required. • Work closely with the team to ensure the correct setup and pour of concrete. • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and code standards. • Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for concrete forming. • Assist with site cleanup and organization. • Always adhere to safety guidelines and protocols. • Attend toolbox meetings. Desired Qualifications: • 6 months to 1 year of experience as a rough carpenter, with knowledge of concrete formwork and framing carpentry • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings • Forklift training (preferred) • Crane Trainee operator card (preferred) • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. • Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious. • Valid driver’s license and transportation.
