We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, engaging, affectionate, and lively. • Company operating name: Willowbrae Childcare Academy Guildford • Title of the position: Early Childhood Educator (Infant/toddler) • Position available: 1 • Wage: $20.00/hour • Hours: 35-40 hours/week • Work location: 15679 104 Ave #201, Surrey, BC V4N 2H4 • Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time • Language of work: English • Qualifications needed: o Valid BC IT/ECE License in British Columbia o CPR and First Aid Certification o 3 professional references o A positive, fun-loving attitude o Ability to work in a team and self-motivated o Criminal Record Check o Previous work experience in an early childhood environment is an asset o Completion of a two- to four-year college program ECE or a BA in child development is required • Job duties: o Design childcare programs aimed at supporting and enhancing the physical, emotional, and social development of children. o Lead various activities, including storytelling, song teaching and providing opportunities for creative expression through art, music, and physical activities. o Create and maintain an environment that ensures the health, safety, and well-being of children. o Evaluate the abilities, interests, and needs of children, discussing progress or challenges with parents and other staff members. o Monitor children for potential learning or behavioral issues, preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors. o Assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits. o Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants as necessary. • Benefits package offered: o Casual dress o Company events o Dental care o Disability insurance o Discounted or free food o Extended health care o Flexible schedule o Life insurance o On-site parking o Paid time off o Tuition reimbursement o Vision care • Contact information: willowbraeguildford@gmail.com Please submit your resume by email.
