Food Services Manager Employer: Grillado's Mississauga Job details: Location: 5165 Dixie Rd., Suite 2B, Mississauga, ON L4W 4G1 Salary: 22.00 hourly / 32.5 to 40 hours per Week Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time Day, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Overtime, Weekend Start date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 2 vacancies Overview: Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work setting: Restaurant Responsibilities/Tasks: • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures • Cost products and services • Organize and maintain inventory • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities • Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance • Leading/instructing individuals • Address customers' complaints or concerns • Provide customer service • Recruit, train and supervise staff Work conditions and physical capabilities: • Fast-paced environment • Work under pressure • Tight deadlines • Repetitive tasks • Attention to detail • Standing for extended periods • Overtime required This employer promotes equal employment opportunities for all job applicants, including those self-identifying as a member of these groups: Indigenous people, Persons with disabilities, Newcomers to Canada, Older workers, Veterans, Visible minorities, Youth Only apply to this job if: You are a Canadian citizen, a permanent or a temporary resident of Canada.
