Job Title: Skilled Scaffold Foremen/Women NOC 72010 Location: 102-332 Columbia Street, New Westminster, BC V3L 1A6 Wage: $45.10 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 3 Language: English About the Role: Westcan Scaffolding Inc. is seeking experienced Scaffold Foremen/Women to lead and supervise scaffolding projects across commercial construction sites. This is a full-time, on-site position in a noisy, outdoor environment where your leadership and technical skills will play a critical role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate scaffolding teams and projects • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed • Train and mentor junior workers on erecting scaffolds and swing stages • Assist in erecting and dismantling scaffolds when needed • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings • Set up and inspect equipment • Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules Experience and Education: • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in scaffolding • Education: Scaffolding Certificates required • Specialization: Experience in commercial scaffolding projects • Supervision: 3–4 Labourers and Trades Helpers Requirements: • Valid driver's licence • Must bring own hard hat and steel-toed safety boots • Able to work under pressure in demanding conditions • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills • Strong values, ethics, and team spirit Personal Suitability: ✔️ Dependable ✔️ Flexible ✔️ Organized ✔️ Accurate ✔️ Strong judgment and initiative ✔️ Team player with efficient interpersonal skills Benefits: Health Benefits: • Dental Plan • Health Care Plan • Vision Care Benefits • Vacation Pay: 12% Financial Benefits: • Group insurance benefits • Pension plan • As per collective agreement ________________________________________ Who Can Apply: You are eligible to apply if you are: • A Canadian citizen • A permanent resident of Canada • A temporary resident with a valid Canadian work permit Note: Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
