Company operating name: Symmetric Machining Ltd Business address: 27272 Gloucester Way suite #14, Langley, British Columbia, V4W 4A1 Title of the position- Machinist, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Job duties: • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance • Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) • Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces • Set up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments • Measuring tools to use: Micrometers, Callipers, Calibre, Gauges, Verniers Terms of employment: Permanent full time/ 40 hours per week; Language of work- English Wages: $ 35/hr, full time, permanent position Benefits: dental, disability, health care plan, vision care benefits, paramedical services coverage; learning/ training paid by employer Location of work: 27272 Gloucester Way suite #14, Langley, British Columbia, V4W 4A1 Please send your resume by email to symmetricmachining@shaw.ca Education: completed secondary school.
