First Cooks (Korean Food Cook)


Sura Korean BBQ Cuisine is located at #1830-4151 Hazelbridge Way, Richmond, BC V6X 4J7. We are currently looking for permanent, full time First Cooks (Korean Food Cook). If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.

Position: First Cook
Wage: CAD$29.00-35.00/hour (depending on skills & experiences)
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evening, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30-40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Free meals at work

Job Duties:
o Prepare and cook Korean food items;
o Prepare special house sauces;
o Oversee kitchen operations;
o Assist with chef in planning menus;
o Train other staff with respect to food preparation.

Job Requirements:
o Completion of secondary school;
o Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience required
o Korean food cooking experience an asset.
o Skills demonstration may be required.
