Ltd. dba Korea Noodle House Job Location: Unit 1812-4500 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC, V5H 2A9 Job Title: Chef Wage: $36.60 per hour Working Hours: 30 hours per week Employment Type: Full-Time/ Permanent Benefit(s): 10 Days’ paid vacation Job vacancies: 1 Full-Time job Job duties you will be responsible for: • Plan and prepare menus, including daily specials, ensuring dishes are consistent and meet customer expectations. • Develop and create new menu items using seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. • Cook and oversee the preparation of meals, maintaining quality, taste, and presentation. • Monitor portion sizes, quality of ingredients, plating/presentation and visual appeal of meals. • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient daily operations. • Assign tasks and provide guidance to kitchen staff, supporting teamwork in a small kitchen environment. • Monitor food inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste while controlling food costs. • Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health and safety regulations. • Adapt menus and cooking methods to meet customer requests, dietary needs, or seasonal ingredients. • Ensure kitchen cleanliness, safety, and proper equipment maintenance. • Interact with customers, handle feedback, and resolve complaints.
