Business Address: 1829 Finkle Dr., Oshawa, ON, L1K 0R4 Work Location: 545 Durham Regional Hwy 47, Unit B, Uxbridge, ON, L9P 1R1 Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Duties: - Move tools, equipment, and other materials - Hold stakes during surveying activities - Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public - Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed - Clean machines and immediate work areas - Assist in operation, repair, and maintenance Requirements: Education: Some secondary school may be required Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Standing for Extended periods, Manual dexterity Personal suitability: Team player, Initiative, Client focus, Accurate, Reliability, Judgement, Organized. Worksite environment: Noisy Language: Basic English is required Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Salary: $22.00 hourly, 30-40 hours per week Benefits: transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Uniforms at no cost are provided. Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. Work schedule is 5 days per week. Shift is usually from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm or from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but it may vary depending on our business’ needs.
