Employer: CCBS Maintenance Ltd. Position: Full-time Maintenance Carpenter (Code #72310) Vacancies: 3 Main Duties: -Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements -Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed -Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements -Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items -Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible -Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated -Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance -Build scaffolding and other construction structures Requirement: - Education: Completion of secondary school is required. - Work Experience: Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program OR over four years of work experience in the trade, particularly in the construction field. Wage: $30.00 ~ $32.00 per hour Working Condition: 30-40 hours per week. 10 days paid vacation per year or 4 % of vacation pay.
