Whistler Samurai Bowl is looking for a Kitchen Supervisor! Employer: Whistler Samurai Bowl (Operated by Yaru Sushi Inc.) Position: Kitchen Supervisor Position Available: 1 Employment conditions: • Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent • Working Location: #101-2011 Innsbruck Drive, Whistler, BC V8E 0N3 • Compensation: $20.00~$22.00 per hour (Depending on Experience) • Working hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day) • Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of vacation fee Job Duties: • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff(s). • Ensure that food and service meet quality and safety control standards – portion, temperature, presentation, order, work environment safety and cleanliness etc. • Prioritize and organize the tasks and make deployment plans for staff(s). • Establish methods to meet work schedules. • Maintain records of stock the items/small tools in kitchen. • Train of newly hired staff(s). Requirements: • Language: English • Completion of high school • At least 6 months of work experience in food or restaurant service • Must be available to work at least one day on weekend.
