Wanted: Food Service Supervisor Hanaya Japanese Restaurant in Surrey, BC is currently looking for a qualified Food Service Supervisor to join our team. Position: Food Service Supervisor Positions Available: 1 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Compensation: CAD$20.00/hour Hours of Work: 30~40 hours/week Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation or 4% of gross salary per year Location of Work: Surrey, BC Language of Work: English Main Responsibilities: - Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of servers and kitchen helpers who prepare, portion and/or serve Japanese style dishes - Prepare food order summaries for chef and cook - Maintain accurate records of stock, sales and wastage and order supplies - Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and company policies - Establish methods to meet work schedules - Train servers and kitchen helpers in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures - Address customers’ complaints or concerns - May perform the same duties as workers supervised when needed Requirements: - Completion of secondary school is required. - A minimum of 2 years of experience in food preparation or service is required. - English Skills Please send us your resume via email at hanayarestaurant.hr@gmail.com if you are interested.
