Business Address: 3546 Bathurst St. Suite 204, Toronto, ON, M6A 2C6 Work Location: 3546 Bathurst St., Toronto, ON, M6A 2C6 install flooring at various locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Load truck with construction machines & materials. Unload and transport equipment and materials, deliver to jobsites Sand/ Grind floor sweep and vacuum floor area. Removal and Disposal of existing flooring Assist with new flooring installation Drive to and from job sites Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites Requirements Education: No formal education. Experience: At least 6 months of experience in general construction is required. Additional on-the-job training will be provided. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Experience with industrial flooring, trowel work, terrazzo, floor grinding is a strong asset. Valid G or G2 Driver’s License, or eligible to obtain this license is required to drive to different job sites. Weight handling: Up to 50 lbs Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, attention to detail, handling heavy loads Personal Suitability: No criminal record, Team Player Language: Basic level of English is required. Spanish is an asset. Salary: $25 hourly, 30-50 hours per week. Benefits: Transportation costs covered if the worker needs to relocate. PPE provided (All that the employee needs for the optimal performance of their work, except boots) Important Information: Position requires flexibility in scheduling, usual shifts from Monday to Friday from 7-8am to 4:00 pm, evening, weekends as needed.
