Bene Sushi offers classic and exotic sushi as well as Japanese specialties showcased in a high-quality experience located in the heart of West Vancouver. Bene Sushi is now hiring experienced Cooks. Employer: 0907674 BC Ltd.(o/a Bene Sushi) Position: Cook Open position: 2 Responsibilities: - Set up a workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. - Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) - Cook completes various foods according to our recipe. - Check food while cooking to stir or turn. - Check the quality of ingredients. - Order or receive food supplies after selecting the best qualities. - Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards. - Work with specialized equipment such as deep-fryer and grill etc. - Clean kitchen and work area. Requirement: - Completion of secondary school. - 2 years or more experience as a cook. Wage and working hours: $16.75 - $18.00 per hour with 35 - 40 hours a week.
