Position: Furniture Cabinetmaker Work Location: 950 Seaborne Ave suite 2145, Port Coquitlam, BC, V3B 0R9 Working Criteria: Permanent, 30 hrs/week Salary: $24.00 per hour Vacation: 4% of gross salary or 10 days of paid vacation Position Available: 3 Main Duties: - Review plans, specifications, or drawings for the items to be created, or develop detailed specifications - Operate woodworking machines, such as (CNC machine, edge bander) power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components - Utilize CADD software and other computer programs as needed - Trim and assemble joints, parts, and subassemblies to construct a complete unit using glue and clamps, reinforcing connections as necessary - Ensure a clean and safe working environment is maintained at all times Job Requirements: - Completion of secondary school is required - Over 3 years of experience in the related field - English is required How to apply: Please submit your resume & work reference letters by email at boashiring@outlook.com Thank you for your interest in this position.
