Niwashi Landscapes Ltd is looking for a full time Landscape gardener on a permanent basis Position: landscape gardener (NOC 22114) Position Available: 1 Employer: Niwashi Landscapes Ltd Location: 1020 legacy way, Whistler BC V8E 1N5 Working Condition: Permanent, Full Time Wage: $23.00~$26.00 per hour (depending on experience) Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of vacation pay Working hours: 30~40 hours per week Job Description: ● Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens. ● Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios and other landscape structures. ● Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes. ● Plant and move trees. ● Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens ● Assess the health of lawns ● Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease. Requirement: ● At least 2 to 3 years of gardening experience ● Completion of secondary education or equivalent ● Language : English fluent ● Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities: ● Attention to detail ● Repetitive tasks ● Handling heavy loads ● Physically demanding ● Manual dexterity ● Ability to distinguish between colours ● Combination of sitting, standing, walking ● Standing for extended periods ● Bending, crouching, kneeling Personal suitability: ● Client focus ● Efficient interpersonal skills ● Excellent oral communication in English ● Flexibility ● Organized ● Reliability ● Team player How to Apply Please send me your resume and contact us via email.
