Our restaurant is located in Regina, Saskatchewan and fully serves Japanese-style cuisine. Now we are looking for experienced cooks who are willing to become our valued team members! Employer: Cozy Winter Cuisine & Bar Ltd. (o/a Cozy Winter Cuisine & Bar) Position: 2 Full-time Cooks Working Location: 2410 Dewdney Avenue, suite 270, Regina, SK, S4R 1H6 Wage: $14.00 ~ $16.00 per hour (to be negotiated) and 6% of the gross income for paid vacation per year. Work Hours: 30~40 hours per week. Start date of Employment: ASAP Responsibilities - Set up a workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. - Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat and etc.) - Cook complete various foods according to our recipe. - Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies and intolerances. - Check food while cooking to stir or turn. - Check the quality of ingredients. - Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards. - Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment. - Inspect kitchens and food services areas. - Clean kitchen and workstation. - Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food. Requirements - Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate. - A diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage. - Experience: 2+ years of cooking experience or completion of other programs in cooking. - Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods such as grilling, boiling etc. - Ability to follow all sanitation procedures. - Good communication skills.
