WANTED: ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN Employer: Breka Bakery & Cafe Inc. Position: Accounting Technician (Permanent/full-time) Number of Opening: 1 Work Location: #101 - 8811 Laurel Street, Vancouver, BC V6P 3V9 Wage: Annually $45,500 - $62,500 (Depending on Experience) Hours: 35-40 hours per week Job duties: • Maintain and keep company’s financial reports and records such as monthly accounting records, GST/HST returns, interim financial statements, reconcile accounts etc. • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial statements. • Communicate with the related departments, organizations and teams regarding financial information requests, assessments, and installments. • Participate in meetings for general accounting planning. • Support and train staff to use accounting software(s). • Assist to implement and configure accounting software and program. Job Requirements: • Language: English • Education: Completion of secondary education is required. • 1~2 years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required. • Experience in related fields is an asset to those who complete post-secondary education in relevant fields such as accounting, finance, and other related programs.
