Business Address: 20403-107 Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5S 1W4 Work Location: Various locations across Edmonton Type of Employment: Full time – Seasonal/ 8-month-contract Anticipated Start Date July 2023 Job Duties: Load, and unload construction materials Assist heavy equipment operators Level earth to fine grade specifications Assist staff installing transformer bases, streetlight bases, communication bases, pulling electrical and communications cables, and ducts. Requirements Education: Not required Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided. Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Repetitive Tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Work under pressure, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Overtime Driver’s license is an asset. If the selected candidate has a valid driver’s license, a company vehicle will be provided for work related tasks and limited personal usage. Personal suitability: Organized, Team player, Reliability, Client focus, Accurate, Flexibility. Work Site Environment: Dusty, Noisy, Dangerous, Outdoors, Odours Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Language: Basic level of English is required. Salary: $22.66 hourly, 30 - 60 hours per week Benefits: Accommodation provided at a cost, Medical, Dental, RRSP, Vision care, Group insurance, Life insurance, Dental insurance, Extended medical insurance, and Disability insurance are also provided. Transportation among work locations is provided by the employer. Important Information: Work schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. However, flexibility on schedule is required as some days will start earlier and others finish later depending on the business needs and weather. **We guarantee at least 30 hours of work per week regardless of the weather.
