Intelligent Shipping and Warehousing Inc is a logistics and warehousing company located in heart of Richmond, BC. We specialize in international transportation, storage, and delivery of freights worldwide. Our company is currently in search for a permanent, full time freight forwarding coordinator to join our team. As the freight forwarding coordinator, the ideal candidate is required to complete the following tasks • Establish and maintain standardized procedure for all logistic activities of the company. • Coordinate allocation of product for inventory to keep warehouse capacity at optimal levels. • Plan route and track the shipments according to customer requirement. • Maintain accurate filing system(s), update/input details of shipments in the system and ensure accuracy for billing. • Complete export declaration and import manifests for all type of air and ocean shipments. • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. • Complete accurate monthly reports as requested by management. • Work with Finance & Accounting to help collect on delinquent accounts. • Continually review and monitor freight costs, and transportation rates to keep costs down where possible. • Address and resolve shipment and inventory issues. • Adhere to all relevant rules and regulations. Highlight of Qualification • Post Secondary Education/ Work Experience in Transportation Management or Logistics is required • Previous customer service experience is an asset • Previous administrative experience is an asset • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to effectively negotiate and present issues in a clear concise manner • Strong attention to detail • Problem solving in a changing environment • Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge • Professional communication in both written and spoken English Employment Conditions: Vacancy: 1 Term of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Compensation: $24.5 per hour, 30 hours per week Work Location: Unit 110 – 11611 No. 5 Road, Richmond, BC, Canada, V7A 4E8 Please forward all resumes to: intelligentshippingwarehousing@gmail.com | |
